Initially, a team of engineers with a successful record in the aeronautic and automotive industries decided to apply its expertise to the field of Natural gas (Ng) and Methanol. With this in mind, they joined forces with a group of partners with very diverse backgrounds and vast experience in international business management and industrial production. Together, they formed a think tank whose purpose was to determine how to integrate Natural gas and Methanol into the energy chain in an accessible, economically viable manner through innovative technological solutions.
Research showed that worldwide, the weakest link in the use of Natural gas as a fuel source is tied to the inconvenience involved for consumers. This is caused by two primary factors: the relative scarcity of Natural gas dispensing stations and the technical immaturity of available Natural gas retro-fitting devices.
An independent research company —E.M.SH Ng-Tech– was then set up under the scientific leadership of the think tank. Its specific goal was to design user-friendly methods to facilitate the use of Natural gas as an alternative energy source by combining it with Methanol. This has culminated in the E.M.SH Ng-Tech System, a comprehensive solution encompassing the entire supply and demand energy cycle that relies on and supports existing Natural gas infrastructures.
Employing completely new technology and a totally original method, E.M.SH Ng-Tech has developed a unique, low-cost, easy-to-install Conversion Kit, that allows any existing internal combustion engine (ICE) – Gasoline or Diesel – to either burn a mixture of CNG and Methanol or to work on Methanol alone. (Note: This Conversion Kit can also operate using any other gaseous or alternative fuel).
The Ng-Tech Conversion Kit can adjust automatically to whatever fuel it is fed, allowing engines to run on Methanol or other alternative fuels.
